Hey guys, welcome back to my channel. Today, I wanted to show you five really quick and easy healthy breakfast ideas. These take less than five minutes to make. I know I don’t have a lot of time in the morning to make breakfast, so I often make really quick breakfasts. But I’m trying to be healthier as well, so I just wanted to show you guys some quick, easy, healthy, simple breakfast ideas that are a bit healthier and simple to make. So, let’s just get started with the video.

So all of these breakfasts can be made in under five minutes for sure. They’re very easy and simple. I love having coconut yogurt with fruit and nuts for a quick breakfast that doesn’t take a lot of time. I start with about a cup of plain vanilla coconut yogurt. I use unsweetened, but you can use dairy yogurt too if you eat dairy. Then, some of my favorite fruits to have on top are banana, which contains really good, healthy carbs, and a few fresh berries like blueberries or strawberries. Then, I made my own little nut and seed mix that I can put on top. I mixed together some almonds, cashew nuts, Brazil nuts, pistachios, walnuts, pecans, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, and some dried cranberries as well. I just add about a heaped tablespoon or two of that on top. You can also add some honey or a drizzle of maple syrup, and even a little bit of cinnamon. Very quick, very easy to make, and you’re getting some good whole carbs from the fruit and some protein and healthy fats from the nuts and seeds in the yogurt. And something like Greek yogurt has even more protein in it than regular yogurt, so that’s a good option.

Then, if you’re a fruit and yogurt lover for breakfast, you can try having it on toast. I know this might sound really strange if you’ve never had it before, but I swear it’s actually really good and really easy to make. The most important thing about this is that you need to use plain or vanilla yogurt. I’m using unsweetened plain coconut yogurt again. Then, you want to slice up some fruit that will actually be good on toast, like bananas or berries like strawberries. Banana is always really simple and delicious on toast. I add a heaped tablespoon or two of plain yogurt onto each slice of toast and spread it out. I try to use whole grain toast or whole gluten-free toast to make it a healthier breakfast. Then, I add the fruit. I’ve added just banana to one slice of bread, and banana, strawberries, and blueberries to the other slice. I’m also adding some pumpkin seeds and some cinnamon to the banana one. A drizzle of honey is really good on top as well if you want it a little bit sweeter. Yeah, that’s really simple, easy, and delicious. I promise it’s delicious, and it’s got good carbs, fats, and protein in it. Just try to make sure your bread is whole grain.

Scrambled eggs on toast. You can’t go wrong. Super quick and easy, and also really great if you like a savory cooked breakfast but don’t have much time. I always start with my toast first. I use my favorite German rye bread, as you’ve seen me do a million times. But I really like it because it’s wheat-free and it’s whole grain and tastes really good. I crack two eggs into a bowl with some sea salt, whisk it together with a fork, and then add that mix to a pan with a small amount of coconut oil. You can use any cooking oil that you prefer, though. Just scramble it up. It’s really easy, takes less than a minute. Once the toast is ready, I just serve the scrambled eggs on top. You could also use tofu scramble if you’re vegan or if you don’t eat eggs. Add some pepper on top. It’s really good with some ketchup too. I really like ketchup with my eggs, so I love that. Really easy.

So, for this one, I’m using this quinoa crisp bread. It’s like these crisp bread cracker things. I usually use ones that are made from brown rice and quinoa. You can use any type of cracker or crisp bread, though. I usually try to get one that’s whole grain and gluten-free. Then, I’ve smashed up some avocado, and to that, I’m adding some lime juice, some oregano, some salt, and some pepper. Just mix that up and add it on top of the crackers. You can have it just like that, or you can add some tomato and cucumber slices, which is what I like to do. It’s a great way to get some veggies in at breakfast. Then, I just add a little bit of pepper on top of that. It’s really quick and easy and a little bit different to avocado on toast. So, if you love that but you want to have something a little bit different to switch it up, then this could be something to try.

Okay, I feel like I have to include a new overnight oats recipe in this video because that’s one of my go-to quick breakfasts that I have. You guys know that. So, this is a new flavor I’m showing you guys. I add about half a cup of rolled oats or old-fashioned oats to a glass or a jar. You can even use a mug with two teaspoons of chia seeds and then half a cup of unsweetened almond milk, but you can use any milk you prefer. Or, you can even use water. I’m adding a teaspoon of coconut sugar to sweeten that and some cinnamon. You can use honey or maple syrup instead of the coconut sugar. Then, some raw almonds, about an eighth of a cup, and two tablespoons of dried cranberries. Just mix that up, store it in the fridge overnight for about eight hours to soak, and it becomes like a porridge when it soaks. Then, in the morning, you can just serve it into a bowl, and it’s ready to eat. Already prepped. I like to chop up some apple and add it on top. This is where the apple cranberry flavor comes in. I use about half a large apple or one small apple. I like to have this as a chilled breakfast, but you could heat it up in a saucepan quickly if you want to. It’ll take about two minutes to heat up. So, it’s still a very quick and easy breakfast. Quick and easy, full of nutrients. It’s got healthy fats, protein, good carbs, and it’s a great filling breakfast.
