Just one year ago, 22-year-old Ahmed was in a severely undernourished state. Fast forward to today, this is what he looks like. He managed to turn his situation around in one year using this specific vitamin protocol. Prior to starting this vitamin protocol, Ahmed had been diagnosed with small intestinal bacterial overgrowth (SIBO). He also had symptoms of fibromyalgia, chronic body pain, peripheral neuropathy, and chronic fatigue syndrome. He was bed-bound on some days and went through a lot. But he managed to find the solution.
Ahmed’s gut improved, and he was able to digest meat and other food. He no longer experiences fibromyalgia symptoms and doesn’t have pain all over his body anymore. The brain fog and cognitive issues have greatly improved as well. He is now able to enjoy life, read, work out, and socialize.
Ahmed went to many different types of doctors, including conventional and alternative medicine doctors, but none of the prescribed treatments worked. It was only when he found this nutrient and started using it in the right dose that he noticed almost immediate benefits.
Ahmed’s journey was originally shared in a Facebook group addressing thiamine deficiency and the paradoxical reaction.
Ahmed started a very basic thiamine protocol, which consisted of a B complex, magnesium, and a bioavailable form of vitamin B1 called benfotiamine. Later on, he switched to another form called TTFD (thiamine tetrahydrofurfuryl disulfide) and settled upon a daily dose of 20 to 25 milligrams, which worked best for him.
Ahmed is planning to continue taking the vitamin protocol for at least six months to allow further recovery for his gut and nervous system.
He advises others who want to try B1 to also focus on improving other aspects of their life, such as diet and reducing stress, as these factors can affect the overall response to the protocol.
Ahmed’s story serves as an inspiration to others who may be on the fence about trying the vitamin protocol. It emphasizes the importance of a holistic approach to health and the potential benefits of addressing thiamine deficiency.
